The SDHC card has a security feature for protection of copyrighted data. What is SDHC? To support the higher capacity needs, SD cards are now requiring a different design. The new SD 2.0 specifications - which supports 4 GB and up - is called Secure Digital High Capacity(SDHC). The SD Association has created and defined 3 speed classes to help you identify speed and performance capabilities/minimum requirements of SDHC cards and their SDHC host products. Details on the SD 2.0 specification:SDHC Cards address data (read and write) at numerous speeds. Many factors impede this performance. SDHC guarantees a minimum read and write speed necessary to handle recording high quality video and audio. This is a great card for the price - high capacity and it works in several different cameras. My only quarrel with it was that shipping took longer than stated when I placed the order and the disc did not come in time for my vacation -- it arrived 5 days after I left. So, if you need it quickly, pay for the expedited shipping.

I suppose since these are so cheap, people are bound to have problems with them. I guess I'm just lucky to not have any. I use this for my digital camera, and even on the highest resolution and highest quality shots, I can still take hundreds and hundreds of pictures. I'm glad I bought this.

What can I say. Card works perfectly in the game camera I got it for.
I did have to upgrade the firmware for my SanDisk multicard reader to accept the 4.0 GB card, but this is a function of the reader, not the memory card it self
